Our Story

C. W. Box Guitars is a subsidiary of BCW Technical Solutions, LLC, a company created by Carmen W. Box shortly after the COVID19 outbreak. Carmen is a Controls Engineer in the manufacturing sector & former metal guitarist and singer. He was the “front man” for the hard rock/metal trio “Crisis Center” during the 90’s. He had developed a passion for the guitar at a young age & had performed Luthier work for himself, friends, and fellow musicians beginning at age 16.  During the early months of the pandemic, he found himself in quarantine. Having a home office, several guitar projects, over 20 years of Guitar Tech and Luthier experience, and 20 plus years of Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing, and Engineering experience, he decided that he would focus some attention on some guitar & hardware design ideas that he had that were set aside for over 2 decades. By the end of his quarantine, he had developed designs for several models of guitars, and began working on a model for a new tremolo & locking nut system. Upon returning to Alabama, he purchased his 1st CNC Router & began to prototype his instruments. Currently, we’re awaiting the development of the building site for our 1st dedicated shop for Guitar and Shop Equipment prototyping. Please visit C W Box Guitars Youtube channel to view tutorials.
